As a kid I never knew how to answer "what do you want to be when you grow up?" At the age of 28 I finally nailed it down: a nurse and a photographer. A few years of hard work later and here I am!

Having two kids, and one of each to boot, is a giant blessing and great preparation for getting little ones to enjoy taking photos. (I am not above bribery. Give us all the snacks.)

I met my husband at a bar, got engaged on a cliff in California and married on a beach in Mexico. Our marriage is an adventure, a partnership and a sappy love song all
rolled into one.

My grandmother is southern, therefore I like to think I am, too, But, it's true. I've lived here in the tundra my entire life. It's not half bad, Most of the time. In the summer. When the sun is shining.

I am an elder millenial, a wife, a mom of two wonderful kids, a labor and delivery nurse and a photographer. A true enneagram seven, I get really excited about a LOT of things and like to have a constant rotation of reasons to get enthusiastic. My favorite things about photography are getting to know people, being silly with kids, soaking up sunshine and nature and conjuring up the artistry and creativity deep inside me. I do my best to be present so I can use the true me to capture the true you.
